CLARINET LESSONS IN ORLANDO

I teach clarinet lessons at my home in the Eola Heights neighborhood of Orlando as well as virtually via Zoom. I can offer a combination of in-person and virtual lessons for convenience.

My individual lesson rates are:

$40 per 30 minutes
$55 per 45 minutes
$65 per 60 minutes

As an orchestral musician and wind ensemble conductor, I regularly work with school music programs for outreach performances, band clinics and woodwind/clarinet sectionals.

As a performer and educator with over fifteen years of teaching experience, I teach clarinetists of all ages and levels in various settings. As the Adjunct Professor of Clarinet at Southeastern University in Lakeland, I teach clarinet lessons to Music Education majors and non-majors as well as courses such as Introduction to Music Technology. As an Orlando Philharmonic “Musician-Teacher”, I take part in regular school visits and subsidized lessons for students in Title I schools throughout Central Florida. I am also currently a doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas where I served as the Teaching Fellow for one of the biggest collegiate clarinet studios in the country, teaching clarinet and chamber music to music majors and non-music majors. While at UNT, I also studied wind ensemble conducting under the tutelage of Eugene Corporon and Andrew Trachsel.

I’m interested in pedagogy that engages students to their full potential while being receptive to their own goals. Many of my students across the United States and Canada have placed in honor ensembles and collegiate music programs. However, I also have students who take clarinet lessons simply for the joy of music, and I will always try to tailor my teaching to whatever a student needs!
